Tim was abruptly certain that he hadn't gotten lost. "If you wanted that, you could just have made it happen." He thought he managed not to make it a question.
Jason's brother shrugged. "That wouldn't have been fair to you."
Tim was certain that, whatever was going on, fair hadn't ever been a factor. He made himself start walking toward the promised shower. "Do you have a name?" he asked.
"Jason calls me the Guardian. It's as good a name as any, one I don't share with any other version of Dick Grayson." The Guardian paused for a moment. "With any other version of Dick Grayson that I have yet studied," he amended.

Aya woke to lips pressed against his ear, to someone's breath on his cheek.

Aya wasn't used to voices in his head and couldn't think why he'd listen to one. Except that he had no idea what was going on.
And he felt like something was wrong with his body, something more than another person-- a stranger? --too far into his personal space. His head ached, but it wasn't the throb of an injury. It felt more like a head cold, just without the congestion.

Ran didn't bother looking at the door. "It's not fair that Crawford always believes you," he said as Schuldig closed the door to the room behind him.
"I'm sorry," Schuldig said. He even sounded like he meant it, and Ran thought that might not be a lie.
Crawford always believed Schuldig about the time loop, but Crawford didn't remember the way that Ran and Schuldig did. Nobody did.
Ran had no one who might believe him. At this point in the timeline, almost no one attached to Kritiker had even heard of Fujimiya Ran. His parents were dead. His sister... He couldn't help being grateful for Schuldig making an effort.
Even if that effort was partly-- largely? --self-serving.

Nevada could tell that Augustine believed what he was saying. "If you were inside his circle, he was."
Augustine turned and looked at her. "The only ones inside were his mother and his..." He seemed to be searching for a word. He shook his head. "It's very feudal, isn't it? And very practical. The loyalty goes both ways. It's just not how most of the world works." He drank from his own travel mug.

Summary
This series is a collection of canon divergent AUs that all start from something different happening after Luke trapped Merlin at the end of Trumps of Doom. Some of them also branch off from each other. Generally speaking, reading one doesn't require having read the others even if it's late in the sequence.
I may shift the numbering of stories within the series to reflect new stories with earlier branching/divergence points.
