    Summary

This is a guide to make text in color, be it for a single word, a full paragraph, several paragraphs in a row, or even the whole chapter, also in different sizes. The tutorial also contains ready-to-use codes for you to add to your work skins.
WARNING: all the codes in this guide were tested on a computer. I can't guarantee the effect when the work they are applied to is read on a mobile phone.
CHAPTER 1 is for pure colored text.
CHAPTER 2 is for text in gradient color, both linear gradient and radial gradient.
CHAPTER 3 contains the steps to combine gradient background with gradient text. It also contains the links to each of the other guides of my CSS GUIDES series
CHAPTER 4 contains the links to eight sites where you can create your gradients and get the ready-to-copy code to paste in the CSS code of the workskin.

    Summary

Very few people, Laurence knew, could breach the layers of defenses guarding all the Emperor's vast palaces.

And only one would come without bearing the will to do harm, and sit himself by Temeraire's claws, and look at him with a look that cleaved the years apart.

"'And by the magistrate, as equally useful. And thus toleration produced not only mutual indulgence, but even religious concord”, and that’s as much as I can manage. Seriously, Tem, this has to be one of the worst ones yet. Tomorrow I get to choose,” said Laurence, firmly closing the battered copy of The Decline and Fall of the Holy Roman Empire they had found in a charity shop, and leaving it in the bedside table. Tem nodded, with a serious face, and burrowed himself in the covers. Laurence kissed him on the forehead and smoothed his head out of his face. “Goodnight, my dear.”

    Summary

After the war is over, William Laurence and Temeraire go to live on the estate of Tenzing Tharkay. It is a brave new world.

30 days' worth of prompts -- ranging from drabbles to over-long fics in their own right -- all (mostly) in the same post-canon story I am projecting for them. Narrative is non-linear but canon-compliant, so spoilers for all 9 Temeraire novels.

(Ratings differ for each chapter so check the index in Chapter 1/Index. Any chapter-specific CWs/TWs will be listed in the chapter notes.)

    Bookmarker's Notes

Amazing collection of drabbles and ficlets, with three chapters as a proper longfic about Tharkay conducting his affairs while Laurence and Temeraire are in London for the season, and Laurence and Tharkay orbiting and sparking off one another.

    Summary

Laurence desires nothing more than to retire to Tharkay's estate and help Temeraire get to Parliament, for what more could he want than a place in Britain with space enough for a dragon, and the company of a dear friend? But wars rarely end so neatly. Bellicose lords, Bourbon princes, errant heirs and shadowy forces threaten to undermine the very peace that Laurence and Temeraire fought to obtain, and ruin the happiness that Laurence was just beginning to glimpse.

    Bookmarker's Notes

What an excellent, complex, historically accurate (for a measure of accuracy) story! I particularly liked this George Laurence and his relationship with our Laurence. And Temeraire, dearest!
