Not in any position to protest, Hilda just nods. Marianne carefully begins unlacing her boots, her hand warm on the back of her leg as she braces her. The whole experience is surreal as Hilda fights to keep her eyes open against the pain of sitting upright.
Hazily, Hilda imagines this is what Marianne looks like when she prays, every day going to the altar and practicing her faith. The Goddess sees her like this, angelic, serene, and Hilda feels worshiped, even as it’s just her stocking being slid down her leg.

“Apparently when I’m emotionally compromised, yes,” Rumi muttered. She stood, towel in one hand, broken mug in the other. “Can we not make this a thing? Just—go back to doing whatever you were doing. I’ll be gone in five seconds.”
She was about to leave, forget this ever happened when Mira’s voice came again, clearer now.
“You can join us, if you want.”
Rumi accidentally overhears her bandmates and instead of turning her away, they invite her to join. Oh, it's also her first time, and Mira and Zoey make sure it’s an experience she won’t forget.
