Peter Parker lleva 12 años siendo Spider-Man, ha pasado por desventuras tras tragedias en su larga carrera de héroe. Sabía que no podría seguir por siempre, por suerte para él se había presentado una oportunidad especial. Actualmente ha reclutado a diferentes jóvenes con casi los mismos poderes que el, con el objetivo de que uno de ellos sea el que sustituya su manto. Es decir que uno de ellos se convertirá en Spider-Man.
Nota del autor: Spider-Man es de los héroes más icónicos jamás hechos pero también exageradamente sobre explotado, no el personaje en sí sino Peter Parker. En más de 60 años el personaje ha evolucionado en la gran variedad de historias vistas en cómics, videojuegos y películas, el problema siempre fueron sus constantes reinicios. Aunque varios tuvieron el valor de contar su propia historia generalmente siempre han sido lo mismo de siempre.
No es necesario contar nuevamente su historia por eso el objetivo principal de esta obra es demostrar que pueden haber otras opciones para continuar el legado y lore. sin embargo, entiendo que es necesario establecer que todo empezó con Peter, por eso escribo una versión de Peter que ha pasado por los eventos más trascendentales vistos de Spider-Man.

Spider-Man is here, standing just a few feet in front of him, and Miles thinks he’s pretty justified in wanting to freak out, because this is officially the coolest day of his life.
“Dude!” He says (definitely not in a squeal, Miles does not squeal). “Oh my god! What- what are you doing here?!”
Spider-Man lets out a little laugh (he just laughed at something Miles said, oh god). “What do you think? I’ve come to check you out!”
“Me?” He asks, in a hopeful - and perhaps just a tiny bit desperate - tone.
“Well, yeah! It’s not every day there’s a new Spider-Man in New York, you know!”

Summary
Peter Parker's life is a mess. He is falling behind in his studies again when exams are coming up, he cannot pay the rent, he still has not found a job, as well as loyal friends on whom he could rely. He continues to torment himself with the ghosts and abandonned life. With the new anti-vigilante laws, things got even worse. But Spider-Man will have to take on a lot of responsibility to defeat a new crime lord Mister Negative, who is seeking revenge on the Mayor himself, and learn to let go of the past and go into the future, to a brand new day.

Milo never really fit into normal society. As he got older and his conflict with his parents got worse and worse and he found himself drifting more towards his uncle Aaron eventually he just... left. Up and left to live with him.
Conversely; Miles, his twin, continued to thrive. Kept his tags to legal spaces, excelled at school and got into a private institute, and the most he gets in trouble for is forgetting to take out the trash. That's greatly overshadowed by Milo's transgressions.
You'd think they wouldn't be close. That Milo might even resent Miles for having the lion's half of their parents' love?
Things couldn't be further from the truth.

As Milo moves out and turns to a life of crime at a young age and takes over the mantle of Prowler, he remains devastatingly in love with his twin Miles who insist on continuing to visit him in secret despite their parents disapproval. As Milo starts to give less and less of a fuck of what society thinks, he stops bothering to hide how he feels. So long as Miles' doesn't reject his escalating advances he has no intention of stopping.
Miles... Miles just doesn't want to lose his brother. He can live with some uncomfortable touching and words.

Summary
Spider-Man was everything that Peter Parker wanted to be. He was like a game of pretend and sometimes when the suit was on, he could pretend that nothing had changed. People recognized him with the suit, Spider-Man was remembered.
Peter Parker was not.
A little over a year had passed since his existence had been erased and he was building a life for himself. He was in his second semester of college, he had a job, his apartment could be worse. Things were okay. But still, he couldn't help but feel that he was existing outside of himself. He sometimes felt disconnected from his body and it only seemed to get worse when both new and old foes seem to be intent on taking him down, no matter the consequences.

Summary
Miles thought things would be (somewhat?) smooth-sailing after his dad's recovery and finding out his brothers were vigilantes (especially Milo, 'cause seriously? It's Milo). He thought that maybe, just maybe the worst thing he'd have to deal with is stopping Wiles from making criminals his test subjects. But, like all things in his life he just can't have it easy. So, when a group known as the Underground starts coming to the forefront to take down Roxxon and their clean energy, it's up to him and his brothers to figure out how to fix things before the situation gets worse. Add in Milo getting back in touch with their honorary sister Phin and hints of something deeper going on with her, and Miles knows this is going to be one abnormally exhausting holiday season.
Or an AU where Earth-1610 Miles, Earth-42 Miles, and Earth-1048 Miles are all brothers and vigilantes. Loosely follows the plot of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
