Summary
"[Kier] left her as she grew." -Jame Eagan.
Inspired by the show Severance, this story explores Helena Eagan's adolescence as she is forced to suppress her fiery spirit and sense of individuality and made to abide by the strict Kier/Eagan Family indoctrination. Conditionally severing herself from her inner Helly R way before she gets a chip. Some scenes are inspired by specific moments of the show to add to the deep layers of subtext.

Summary
“You and your family created hell, and you’re going to burn in it!” Helly seethes with a passion and conviction that Helena has not felt in her soul for a very, very long time.
They both await Jame’s reaction with bated breath.
He doesn’t move an inch, but Helena’s stomach drops at the sight of the small smile that spreads across his stoney face.“There he is.”
Oh fuck.

What would Helena think and feel about Helly’s adventures in the final 2 episodes of season 2?
As Helly finally begins to accept Helena as a part of herself, and as Mark chooses her anyway.Inspired by Helena watching the elevator kiss scene on repeat, this is my take on what would happen if Helena was able to watch the tapes from “The After Hours” and “Cold Harbor”.

Summary
My father watched every move I ever made from the moment I was born, until I found a way to set myself free...Tying a noose with an extension cord in a lifeless silver elevator. Hoisting myself up on a bin and draining my life away as it rose towards his office. It took 15 minutes for someone to find me and 2 weeks in the ICU for me to wake up. My father never visited, opting instead to send me away somewhere I would have no control. Lumon. My prison.
*AU Severance (without the severance procedure). Helena ends up in a mental health ward after a life long fight to take away her fathers formidable control of her body (and life). With Mark, Dylan and Irving by her side, she is forced to face the music but the journey to healing is not an easy one*.

Summary
As soon as Helena pushes the door closed behind them, she’s hit by the gentle weight of Mark's body as he presses her into the adjacent wall, a gasp suspended in the back of her throat as his lips cover hers. She responds without really meaning to, just muscle memory, her head leaning back into his cupped hand as he protects her from knocking against the hard surface. The act of it is so tender that she can’t take it anymore, can’t take this—something she didn’t earn and doesn’t deserve.
She wedges her hand between them, palm to his chest, and pushes back. The look of hurt that flashes in his eyes is almost enough to pull him back to her.
“I’m—I’m sorry, Helly. Before the OTC… I should’ve kissed you back then; I wanted to. I—I thought—”
“I’m Helena Eagan,” she says, the confession tumbling out as an exhale.

Summary
"Is Hannibal Lecter stopping by?" he asks with a smile. "Where'd you get all this shit, anyway?"
"I ordered it from a medical supply company."
"I might need more medical supplies when you're done with me," he says.
But she knows he trusts her not to hurt him. They'd realized early on that they've both already had more than enough pain in their lives and just want to feel good when they're together. So they've agreed to stick with pleasure and teasing, never pain or torture. It's probably the only way he would let anyone restrain him to this absurd degree. Call it light bondage with heavy equipment.

Ch1: Helena has planned a fun night with Mark, but playtime takes a turn when his innie shows up. Maybe she can show them both a good time in the end, but what we know for sure is that one version of Mark is about to have his mind (among other things) blown.
Ch2: If affable Mark S from MDR is that much of a freak, his outie must be a real animal, right? We're about to find out, since it's Mark Scout's turn for sexy time with Helena.

Summary
This piece is an ongoing exploration of Helena's inner world, inspired by the Zufu dinner scene in Season 2. It begins pre-OTC.
I pretend that Helena never had sex with Mark's innie at the ORTBO (not because I am trying to make her more palatable, but because as of now I just don't care for that scene...).
Somehow Kate Middleton, or a Kate lookalike, has also entered the universe because she is interested in the severance procedure.

Refeeding Syndrome: A set of severe physical complications that result when a malnourished person is reintroduced to food too quickly.
Helena has long been starved of emotional intimacy. As an Eagan, a child of Kier and Industry, she has learned to push down her trivial desires and ignore the gnawing hunger. But when she’s spoon fed a decedent meal of rich care and mouthwatering affection by Mark S, a creeping sickness settles over her.

Summary
“Helly!” Mark grins at her, relief palpable on his face and she’s immediately taken aback. “Oh my God. Are you okay?”
He steps even closer and she instinctively wants to back up. She doesn't do this. People don’t come into her personal space. She isn't greeted with a warm smile or open arms. But she quickly smooths her expression into something resembling relief, tries to remember that Helly cares for this innie.
He’s so warm, so close, and real when he wraps his arms around her. She’s frozen for a moment in the embrace, her arms hanging uselessly over his shoulders, all of her senses overwhelmed because when was the last time someone hugged her?
But then she reminds herself: they aren’t people. They might look and sound and feel like it, but they’re not. And so she carefully tightens her arms around him like Helly would, curious about his reaction.
Or, a look into Helena's mind as she spends more than three days on the severed floor.

Summary
To piss off her father, Helena Eagan grants Helly R.’s request for a visit with her 12-year-old daughter against her better judgment. Helly and Maeve Riggs form an immediate bond, Maeve finding solace in this kind, caring fragment of her mother she hasn’t seen in a long time and Helly seeing so much of herself in this child she's not supposed to consider her own. Helena tries to stand in their way, only to be undermined by her father's self-serving interests. Helena and Helly each see the other as the villain in this story—Helena the cold, emotionally neglectful parent and Helly the wedge pulling Maeve and Helena further apart—but perhaps the two of them have more in common than they realize.
Maybe they aren't at odds after all.

Gemma offers an unnervingly warm smile. She crosses the room and crouches, her face mere inches from Helena’s. A power play. A dare for Helena to use her only unrestrained body part to strike Gemma. Out of sheer curiosity, or something else entirely, Helena doesn’t take the bait.
