Summary
Everyone thought Steve was the king of Hawkins High, that no one could touch him and that nothing could bother him. Eddie was a part of that crowd until by chance he came across Steve's attempt to jump from Hawkins' water tower. Unable to sit back and watch the annoying jock die, Eddie entered into an agreement with Steve. He'd help Steve make a bucket list and if Steve still wanted to die once all the items were crossed off then Eddie wouldn't stand in his way again. Now it's up to Eddie to show Steve that life is worth living, and possibly fall in love along the way.

It is March 1986 and Eddie is acting strange. More strange. Strange in a way he usually isn’t. He’s been relatively quiet, no loud displays standing on a lunch table. Doesn’t try to rile anyone up in the hallways, doesn’t talk back in class. Jason knows he should be happy the freak is finally chilling out, but he fears that Eddie is gearing up for something rather than calming down. When Jason spots Eddie dealing outside a good-luck party hosted by the cheerleaders the weekend before the basketball tournament, Jason knows he needs to step in or Eddie's gonna do something to cost them the win. But when horrifying demons with flower shaped mouths attack and send the two of them running into the woods, Eddie’s glowing eye and Chrissy’s disappearance show Jason that Eddie is even more strange than he ever thought possible.
The upside down is literally hell in this fic, and Vecna is literally Satan.
Eddie may or may not be a demon and doesn’t know it. -
