Summary
CatNap’s friends all disappeared without a trace. He keeps on looking for answers on their whereabouts, but it all leads to nowhere. Occasionally, CatNap thinks that he hears their voices, it’s all in his head. Fifteen years after their disappearance, CatNap swears that he can hear their voices more clearly.
After DogDay’s death in the factory, he returns to the cartoon world and sees all of his friends but a certain purple cat is missing. Good riddance.
(In this au, all of the critters minus CatNap are forced to go into the factory. They come back 15 years later to find a difference in their cartoon world. the cartoon version of the Smiling Critters are AI programs for the bigger bodies project. They get mixed in with the souls but get separated once they die, meaning that the Smiling Critters go back to their world with the memories of the real world while the souls just disappear.)

He stared forward at the woman who watched him from her judgemental chair. Her long red hair was particularly ethereal in the stark white of the room. He wrung his hands, moving his gaze across the front of the courtroom where the judge and her guard sat. He dared not look at the spectators behind him, knowing that it would be far fewer than it should be.
His gaze settled back on the woman and he prepared to answer her question. “Your Honor–”
“Cass!”
He froze mid-sentence and then let out a long sigh. Of course they’d find a way to get here. He clenched his fists tightly. “I told you to stay out of this!” he snapped without looking back at the two brothers who had ruined his entire existence. Or maybe he had ruined theirs. Or maybe they made it worth existing…
He finally wheeled around on the two. Three…? Another Angel stood with them. He shook his head. It didn’t matter who had helped them to get here. “No, you cannot!” He turned back to the judge, who was now standing and glaring at the intruders in their midst. “Guilty!” he demanded. “I plead Guilty!"

After a variety of Evaluations and Placements that leave him mistrustful of his family, Dean Winchester moves to the country, and becomes what is called "Savage" - a person who will not take a Placement or accept his new Evaluation. In desperation, the family releases what they can, and now, Castiel Krushnic is hoping to find Dean for his own reasons.
