Summary
Hobbits had no need for royalty and no love for complexity. They were a simple folk with simple tastes, accustomed to the sunlit pastures of the Shire over the austere halls of Mountains.
Never had this been more apparent following the Reclaim of Erebor. Thorin was now King Under the Mountain and his Company revered among all. In Dwarven Kingdoms, of course, hierarchies were hallowed.
Naturally, Bilbo did not subscribe to such beliefs, and it landed him in a world of trouble.

Or: In which Bilbo speaks his mind, trampling all over Hobbit decorum and Dwarf Laws in the process. Thorin gets a stern talking to (King Under the Mountain or not) and takes great offence. And the Company, naturally, place bets on how long it will take for these two knuckleheads to sort their mess out.

His clothes would have caused a perfectly respectable hobbit to blanch in horror, mussed and casual from months of travelling; the bruises decorating his fair skin would have provoked a gasp; the ragged state of his unusually straight and unusually short dark hair, a flinch; all combined with the spectacle of a Hobbit -- even a Took - with a sword at the hip would have caused even the most hardy of hobbits a fainting spell.
However, Bilbo Took was not a perfectly respectable hobbit.

Bilbo Baggins is an ordinary Hobbit. Except for the fact that he is the most long-lived Hobbit so far in their race and he has not aged one single day. Plus, he can manipulate plants. Okay, he's not exactly ordinary. He's extraordinary.
Thorin Oakenshield is a stubborn, hard-headed, completely infuriating Dwarf. But he has every right to be, for he has gone through lengths of pain no one else has suffered. Maybe no one else, except a certain Hobbit. He can also strangely manipulate stones. Despite Thorin's gruff demeanor, he is kind hearted and tender to those he deems worthy.
Does he deem Bilbo worthy? What is this strange feeling of an invisible chain of mithirl is pulling him towards the Hobbit?
Yes, he has gone through lengths of pain that others dare not imagine. Both of them have. In this life and the past.A One from a different race was completely unheard of, and especially something as strong as this, for what two different, peculiar creatures shared was as strong as love could ever be. They were Bound.

"Why I believe that is quite simple. You move on when your heart finally understands that there is no turning back," the Istari answered.
Camilla was never quite one for fantasies, or books. Aside from the text books she had to read for class, she didn't indulge any further for fear of letting her imagination roam free. But when a freak car accident knocks her unconscious, she's not sure if she's landed in heaven or if her imagination has finally gotten the better of her in hell. But either way, the afterlife seems to strangely resemble the setting of a book that she once read back in seventh grade.However, it doesn't take her long to make the connections between where she really is. And when she finally realizes where fate has landed her, she's not exactly sure what do, or what to reveal. She knows how life will end for the vast majority of Thorin Oakenshield's company and she's not sure if she should speak up to save their lives or not. Worse of all, she's not sure how to get home.
