Summary
Raised under Gaius’ quiet guidance and the whispered legends of old magic, Arthur and Morgana Pendragon grow up loving the very thing their father fears most. When Morgana’s magic awakens early, destiny shifts — and Camelot’s future tilts toward the return of magic rather than its destruction. Years later, a young warlock named Merlin arrives, carrying a prophecy he has never heard and a power he has never understood. Three destined forces rise together — king, priestess, and warlock — bound not by fear, but by light and ancient promise, where the moon once watched them grow.

Summary
“You don’t seem like a king.”
Arthur lowered the scroll onto his lap and peered over at the child, curious and maybe a little offended. “Why not?”
Merlin shrugged. “You don’t sound like a king, for one.”
“And pray tell, Merlin, how is a king supposed to sound?”
“I don’t know,” he muttered. “Strong. Powerful.” Suddenly Merlin sat up straight, puffing his chest out and pinching his face into a rugged scowl. His voice pitched low, sounding odd in his young body. “My name’s Arthur Pendragon,” he imitated theatrically.
Arthur couldn’t help his amused snort at his antics. “Wrong," he said, returning to the scroll. "A king doesn’t have to say his name, the people would already know it.”
Merlin smiled, a teasing gleam in his eyes. “A good king doesn’t,” he mumbled under his breath, obviously still intending for Arthur to hear.
“The only reason I don’t ‘sound like a king’ is because I have to put up with all your insolence.”
That gloating smile grew on Merlin’s lips and Arthur knew he was going to lose this battle. “A good king wouldn’t put up with that either.”

Summary
At first, it wasn’t a problem. At first, it was just a weight on his chest that made it slightly harder to smile.
Then it got just a little bit heavier, making small tasks harder to do.
It wasn’t the first time he felt it, so he paid no heed and went on with his days. He woke up bright and early, got Arthur’s breakfast prepared, did his rounds for Gaius, cleaned the king’s bedroom, scribed his speeches, laundered his clothes, polished his suit, sharpened his sword, saved Camelot from yet another attack—
He did everything according to a perfect routine, from sunup to sundown.
Until one day… he stopped.

Summary
“Alright I’ll take my insufferable brother and you can take…him” she said nodding towards Merlin. Which..odd how she said that. Usually Morganna liked Merlin, thought of him as an extension of their family, especially with whatever he had with Arthur, but she sounded almost…mad? No not mad but with a disdain in her voice, probably for dragging her maid around town for a couple of hours when she was meant to be getting her lady ready for bed. She had already luckily told her father she would be home later this evening as she dragged Merlin through the hall. Giggling and producing daisies as they went. She rolled her eyes.

A rainy scouting trip, an unlucky fall into a lake, and Merlin comes back to Camelot with the head cold from hell. Gaius is fussing, Arthur is awkwardly hovering, and Merlin’s just trying to sneeze his way through recovery without anyone making a big deal out of it. (They make a big deal.)

Summary
A spring storm turns a simple scouting mission into something far messier when Merlin, already nursing the beginnings of a cold, ends up soaked to the bone and shivering with fever. Arthur does his best to get them home in one piece—but once Gaius hears that first sneeze echo down the corridor, it’s all over.
Now confined to bedrest, Merlin must endure fussing, hourly forehead checks, and the indignity of Arthur and Gaius timing how long he can go without sneezing. He might not love the rules—but he doesn’t mind the company. -

“I told Arthur I had magic.” He states. He looks down. Not shameful, but as a shell of the man he once was. “And told him to kill me.” Merlin choked out, beginning to notice the tears filling his eyes and throat.

“One more step and your friend is dead! Drop your sword!” Arthur nodded, “Okay, okay.” he agreed. Sword falling to the floor. Merlin’s brows furrowed. What the hell was Arthur doing? He shook his head in the man’s grasp.
Arthur didn’t bring any other weapons with him today. Merlin hunched his shoulders, hating the feeling of the man touching him. “You tryna die? Stop squirming! Or would you like to say some last words to your mate?”
Merlin gasped for air as the man’s hand left his face. “Let him kill me!” he screamed.
“Are you insane?!”

Summary
“i use it for you arthur, only for you–“
merlin clutched arthur’s hand to his chest as he sobbed, his pale cheeks growing cold as pure wind blew across his face and chilled his tears. the sentence itself nearly brought arthur to hysterics, lying there with a wound to his abdomen that burnt like salty tears in a cut. his blond hair being pressed into the ground while merlin held him close, panting as he spoke.
a slight scoff left arthur, full of love, “merlin you are not a sorcerer.” he knew merlin like the blade of his sword, slicing everything he did in half - the other side of his coin. he squeezed slightly at merlin’s chest, “i would know.”

Summary
Merlin has moved on since the death of King Arthur centuries ago. Disillusioned, he had never used magic or sorcery since that day; he doubted his ability to use it now anyway. Now living in modern day England, in a place called Eastbrook, the new reformed name for Albion, the place was thriving with holiday makers.
Merlin’s best friend and part time lover, Molly Preston, was the only one who knew his true identity. Well, that’s what he thought anyway. Molly introducers him to a friend called Valla. But there is something about him that Merlin can’t quite comprehend. It was as if he knew him before. Then Vala tells Merlin some news about Arthur Pendragon, which shocks him to the core. Is Molly and Valla really who they say they are? The result, anyway, meant that Merlin must regain his magical powers quickly, if he is to help Arthur return for good. But one person stands in his way…an evil resurgent sorcerer called Mordred.
