Cassandra looks into Jason's eyes and sees someone who looks frighteningly similar. They seemed to be getting along at first, willing to trade polite smiles in the all too empty manor. But then they stumbled onto the topic of beliefs. And while Cassandra was well liked and respected for her patience and kindness; Cass felt a sick amount of satisfaction knocking Jason’s head into a wall. Maybe later she would feel guilty, not on behalf of him but for Dick or Tim or someone who actually cared about Jason. But she couldn't feel it right now, not when he had admitted to killing so many people. And sure Cass felt that every person was capable of change– even Jason. But he had believed the exact opposite, had said that, “People don’t change no matter how many chances you give them.”
Or: Cassandra meets Jason for the first time and it goes horribly.
