Not sick or not okay, they wouldn't clarify with him. They would look at him, almost unconvinced, but still, they wouldn't push further. His mother told him once, touching the back of his hand to her forehead, that he got it from her. He'd always been like his mother.

    Maybe that's why he's always loved the cold.
