Summary
Five years have passed since the devastation of the Fourth Ninja War; five long, tumultuous years in which Sakura has finally found a place for herself once more in the world. A place that isn’t Konoha. Although they won the war and Akatsuki and Madara were defeated, many of their goals came to pass. “Better one or two?” The doctor asked, switching between the lenses on the equipment in front of Katsuki’s face. The metal was cold and smelled vaguely of the alcohol the doctor had used to wipe it down.
“Whichever one gets me a date with you?” Katsuki cheekily responded, in lieu of an actual answer.
Unfazed, the doctor repeated the question. “Better one or two?”
Katsuki tried to resist the pout forming on his face but he’d been working his charm since the moment the doctor stepped in and introduced himself. The green-haired, green-eyed, freckled beauty deserved all the charm. But nothing Katuski did was working.
“One,” he decided to answer honestly.
The doctor hummed and rolled his chair away to the desk on the side of the small room to write the choice down. Returning to the machine he began fiddling with things until all Katsuki could see was a blur of colors.
“Great, now which is clearer? One?” He clicked something on the machine, "or two?” Clicking through the options again he repeated his question.

Set in the aftermath of the final battle in Onyx Storm, this three-chapter fic envisions Garrick Tavis finding Imogen Cardulo struggling after the loss of her best friend. Alone at a midland outpost with nothing to do, they share dinner, drinks, dancing, and finally, some real feelings. Dragons have opinions, as they do. Imogen tries to fist fight Garrick, as she does. Garrick loves Imogen, as he always has.
