    I have spent my life loving a god- a man- I can never have. I have worshiped at his statue's feet and spoken the words he whispers in my dreams and in my ears. I tend to his temple and burn his offerings. I wear his jewels and the crown he placed on my head. In return, I have been gifted with power and status beyond comprehension.
