Summary
Phainon has always been a strange person. He’s talkative, vocal, and… loud. He does a lot of weird things too, to the point where Mydei barely reacts anymore. That is, until something happens that makes Mydei question just what is going on with Phainon.
When an enemy catches Mydei off guard, Phainon rushes in to take the blow – stupid, considering Mydei’s the immortal one. However, something else catches them by surprise.
The thing bites Phainon in the ass.
In desperation, Phainon bends over and yells at Mydei to hit it, and Mydei slaps it as hard as he can. The resulting sound is a resounding smack that echoes throughout the area.
“Nnngh—!”
And that, too.
Mydei stares at Phainon in shock. Phainon, to his credit, looks equally mortified by the odd sound he just made. Mydei feels a little bad about it, but Phainon just brushes him off.
It doesn’t stop there. More strange things like this happen, Phainon laughing it off each time, and Mydei can’t help but wonder: What exactly is Phainon trying to hide?
Another question also lingers in his mind: Why does Mydei keep getting strange thoughts about him too?

More and more often, during their fights, Phainon makes suggestive sounds that leave Mydei feeling a little flustered. Where these just unfortunate sounding grunts in the heat of battle or deliberate noises to throw Mydei off in the heat of battle? Mydei thinks he knows the answer and one one fight would solve it. Of course this battle does not go as planed.

Summary
A soft touch here, a teasing one there, and soon, they were a mess of limbs, of hot breath against one another’s cheeks, of fingers tangling into each other’s hair, pulling gently at the locks of each other’s hair, each endeavouring to gain the upper hand. Their clothes lay in a haphazard pile, abandoned and forgotten, as much of a mess as their owners were.
Eventually, not one to show mercy this night, Mydei pinned Phainon down on the mattress, his hands held above his head, one wrist pinning them down as his fingers breached Phainon’s mouth, pressing down on his tongue. As desperate as Phainon was, a copious amount of slick slowly trickling out of him to run down his thighs, Mydei still wanted to play this cat-and-mouse game; to play with his prize before he claimed it, made his mark on it as he had done countless times before.
Phainon has many thoughts on this particular engagement.

He lowers his head to rest on Mydei’s chest, ear pressed over Mydei’s silent heart. And Phainon waits. And waits.
Mydei jolts to life beneath him, muscles seizing and a ragged breath tearing from his lungs. But he settles in an instant, the tension leaving his frame.
“I thought you were a dream,” Mydei whispers.
The truth of Era Nova is revealed. Phainon alone will bear the burden of the world’s memories, a burden heavy enough to crack the foundations of his hope. Phainon tries escape his fears, and encounters the one person who can mend his hope.
“I’m supposed to be the one to remember everything. Everyone. But right now…I just want to forget. Just for a little while.” He whispers the last, “…can you make me forget?”
Phainon can feel the ripple of tension that rolls through Mydei. He gets no time to regret his admission, as Mydei is gently but firmly pulling him down into a kiss.
Then, low, whispered into his ear, “Lie down on the bed, close your eyes, and wait.”
Phainon cares for Mydei. And then Mydei cares for Phainon.

“Oh,” Phainon responds, as though he did not plan this, “it’s nothing. I’m just happy that, despite everything, we can still gather like this and enjoy a meal together.”
Surreptitiously, Phainon lifted Mydei’s other hand from where it rested upon his thigh, uncrossing his legs. As soon as Mydei felt that wet heat through his gauntlets, soaking through the fabric of Phainon’s pants, he was hit with the cold realisation that Phainon’s words were just a distraction for the others. He gripped his cup like a lifeline, loosening his grip at the last moment out of fear it would crack, or even smash, in his hand.
Phainon taunts Mydei back. Mydei teaches him a lesson... or tries to, anyway.

Phainon's brain blanks entirely. It wasn’t even the line itself—which was standard script stuff, just a mere three words strung together—but it was just the way he said it. Slow, syrupy amusement with a mercilessly sinful undertone. Fuck.
How the hell was he supposed to survive the next sixty-something minutes?
In which Phainon lands a gig with his longtime favorite voice actor; he immediately discovers that he is, in fact, not immune to Mydei's dangerously seductive vocal range.

He’s playing a dangerous game, walking a fine line, but the excitement in his chest grows palpable. Mydei is a man that subsists off control. A powerful warrior and general, he commands the Kremnoans with an iron fist, and his very presence brings with it respect and reverence. To insinuate his lack of control is the greatest insult, and Phainon has just placed himself, defenseless, in the lion’s den.
In which Mydei reminds Phainon exactly who he belongs to, and Phainon enjoys every second of it.

Phainon's coworkers always thought the man have a great system in relieving said stress even gaining a title for that.
In reality it isn't like that, if not cooking new recipes, Phainon needs Mydei's help, or to be more correct, his dom's help.
That being said the help is to be his lover's sub and used like the good obedient puppy like he is.
Or
Basically Phainon is stressed and he needed to unwind with the help of Mydei's ability in dominating him.

“I- u-um…you’re welcome.” Phainon only but whispered back, not trusting himself to say anything more than that after he was struggling so much just to get a mere sentence out.
Mydei checked around, also now noticing that nobody else was left except for the two of them in the cafe. “..Come sit with me.” He said abruptly, quickly catching Phainon’s attention once again, holding back laughter at his surprised expression. “What, nervous? You were so eager to learn my name after all this time, I had figured you had wanted to converse more, but…I suppose not. Oh well, I’ll take my usual spot-“
“I-I’ll come sit with you!” Phainon said suddenly, any composure he had left withering away into nothing as he felt his chest tighten from both embarrassment and the state of fluster he found himself in.

Summary
Mydei had been his competition for years until Nikador, leaving Phainon feeling more uncertain than ever in the wake of a battle that had cost Mydei too much and him too little.
Mydei had never shown any form of interest in physical contact outside of sexual gratification. While their times together had always been enjoyable, there had always been a degree of emotional distance to them. Phainon knew that he was not being kept at arm's-length due to any sort of resentment, that he was not being used, but simply that there was a boundary between them that had been set by the nature of their relationship. A part of him yearned for something with more connection, something to ease the constant choking pressure of isolation, but he also knew that he had no right to ask for such things. Yet there he was, his guilt and unease so overwhelming that he couldn't help but want to wrap around Mydei and protect him from any further suffering.
Ah, but what a fool he was.
