Sometime after the end of Digimon 02, many Gazimon are living new lives after losing their Boss, the big Digimon called Etemon. When one of them was called to go to a certain castle, the last thing he expected was to have a nice time in the onsen there with two of his old friends. He had no idea that this meeting was only the first step towards a new path for all of them, maybe all Gazimon too, and who knows...maybe all of the Digital World as well?

He struggles both with schools, and with his controlling father. When a stranger challenges him to a card game, he finds himself confronted with the truth that things he had considered fiction till now are in fact part of his reality. Soon enough he finds out about the other Digimon Tamers, the Digimon and a strange girl, who seems to be able to summon the creatures from another world at will.
Denrei has always dreamed of having a Digimon partner, has dreamed of an adventure of his own. But he soon has to find out, that adventures in the real world are far more deadly, than he has imagined them to be.

Summary
Digimon Revolt follows Teagan, the female leader, and the other three digidestined through their journey and interactions in the Digital World. Revolt takes place far after the events of Adventure 01, Adventure 02, and Tamers (with canon divergence taking place in Tamers involving minor character death.) The notion that the events that took place in Adventure 01 and 02 are technically fictional in Tamers canon is scrapped in Revolt. Teagan and the other digidestined are sent to the Digital World from present-day America. There have been many digidestined groups sent to the digital world since the events of Tamers, but none have succeeded in defeating the enemy. The digidestined must find out why they are there, how to help their digimon, and most importantly, how to get back home. This fic is very episodic and meant to simulate a legitimate season of the Digimon English dubs that I grew up with (similar corny dialogue, archetypes, and naming conventions) with more mature elements.

A joyful deconstruction of certain "oddball" elements of children’s cartoons, and a celebration of the Digimon franchise.
This is a rewrite of Digimon: Fragments. Updates are slow (i.e.- whenever). It's basically that fic but somewhat better written.
