Set in a dystopian future where Synthetic Humans (SHs) are widespread but marginalized, Sergeant Khôi patrols a devastated SH slum in Hanoi. Amidst the ruins, he finds an injured SH girl clutching a jade pendant, whispering for help. Defying orders, he hides her and later takes her home, naming her Mai and integrating her into his family.
Mai is compassionate and gentle, attending a mixed hospital-school where she comforts patients and forms deep emotional connections. Despite her warmth, she suffers from disturbing flashbacks and nightmares — remnants of an abusive past.
Eventually, Mai begins to exhibit symptoms of a lethal SH-targeting malware known as the Virus. As her systems degrade, she continues to spend her last days with her adoptive family, cherishing each moment. One night, she succumbs to the virus, her final words laced with system error messages and a heartfelt goodbye, as her jade pendant slips from her hand.
Years later, Linh, the daughter of the Prime Minister, visits Mai’s former school. A nurse recognizes her as eerily similar to Mai. Linh responds in Mai’s old manner, holding the same jade pendant — suggesting Mai’s memories or essence may live on through her

When Syaoran, Kurogane, Fai, Lunamaria, Lunaanne and Mokona got to Fei-Wang Reed's domain, they were surprised to see the clone Syaoran there. Syaoran was going to confront his clone but suddenly Fei-Wang appears behind the clone and he summons his soldiers. Fai, Kurogane, Lunamaria and Lunaanne began fighting the soldiers while Syaoran fights his clone alone. However, as the clone Syaoran was about to bring the real Syaoran to Fei-Wang, the clone suddenly stabs him and he stabbed him in return for his betrayal. The clone Syaoran dies and Fai and Lunaanne's eyes with their respective magic return to them. Fai used his returned magic to transport them to where Fei-Wang is and Kurogane kills him only to find out that he killed Dr. Kyle instead. However, Fei-Wang had anticipated this, and transported them all into the Infinity Castle and said "You're all going to Hell now!". Everyone including Syaoran's friends who have journeyed with them across different dimensions and those they've met during the tournament fell into the Infinity Castle.
