"Just hold him, Techno," Philza had murmured as he collapsed against one of the blue armchairs in Technoblade's office, "he's a clingy baby. He's happy when he's being held."
Philza had already fallen asleep before Technoblade could protest. He watched Wilbur smile at him as he reached his tiny hands for the golden chains hanging from his glasses.
Wilbur was small, and Technoblade's hands had been crafted for war.

Wilbur falls, and briefly, Niki crosses his mind and his heart sinks as he realizes she’s going to be waiting for him to never come. He was supposed to page her in ten hours or so, to let her know he was alive. She’s never going to get that call.
His eyes lock with the alien as it pops its head down the shaft. Glowing blue lights the darkness, Wilbur closes his eyes and pretends he’s somewhere else.
He pretends he’s home. Not the base, but the house he grew up in. He pretends he’s sitting in their living room bugging Tommy by continuously kicking him with his feet while Tommy complains to Phil about him being annoying. Phil will tell Wilbur to stop with an amused grin on his face, which only encourages Wilbur to do it more.
Wilbur smiles, and then a chilling crack echoes as his head collides with cold concrete.
OR: aliens invaded earth and they can replace your soul with their own. they make it wilbur's problem.
