Summary
As captain of the Bronze Mare, Geralt is one of the most sought-after independent contractors in all of Soladux. Working on the outskirts of the Corporation’s laws, Geralt has very few rules for himself. Rule number one, though: he works alone. Other people only drag him down.
But when a hitchhiking con-artist, a former apprentice, and a supposedly casual hookup end up aboard the Bronze Mare with him, he has to find a way to make it work. It’s one job, after all. The biggest job of his career. Afterwards, they’ll go their separate ways, and he’ll be settled for life. Assuming they make it out alive.
Maybe the real space adventure AU is the friends we make along the way.

“Oh,” Jaskier sighed, his shoulders drooping. He stepped back, casting his eyes around with a vague intention of escaping. Suddenly he felt a hand on his elbow.
“No, I—” Geralt began, then cut himself off, swallowing and pursing his lips. Jaskier looked into Geralt’s eyes and he could almost convince himself he saw desire there. Geralt’s hand squeezed Jaskier’s arm gently, just enough to feel it, and Jaskier brought his hand up to Geralt’s chest, laying one hand just off center, over his heart. “Jaskier,” Geralt breathed, moving to close the distance between them. He stared into Jaskier’s eyes but remained just shy of kissing him.
“I dare you to,” Jaskier whispered, his mouth twitching in the suggestion of a smile.- Language:

“I never imagined the God of War being so shy,” said Jaskier idly. He was currently sitting in the middle of the meadow where Geralt first saw him, plucking another tune on his lute. It took Geralt a long moment to register the muse spoke to him directly, not his usual mumbling to himself, voicing his thoughts and song lyrics that Geralt found endearing. He was still unsure whether his presence was truly detected, or if the muse simply spoke out to no one in particular, when Jaskier raised his head and looked directly in his direction.

A series centered around a trilogy inspired by The Tide Rises, the Tide Falls by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow -- a poem about the permanence of impermanence, the constant that is change.
The trilogy follows Geralt in modern day where Chaos no longer exists in abundance. His Signs don't work, the mages can't go far from the ancient monuments that still emit some Chaos, and what remains is controlled very strictly by the ALR (Abnormal Life-form Response). All "Abnormals" (Witchers, Sources, monsters) and closely monitored by the ALR. It's a series about change, personal and impersonal, and finding one's place.

Summary
Jaskier has been in hiding for a good part of a quarter-century. Inspiration running thin, and Sandpiping taking up most of his energy, he meets up with an old associate who's offering him a job. Now he'll need to make up with his chaos if he wants to unearth both Dijkstra and his associate's true motivations. He surely does not count on Yennefer stumbling into his mess though. Oh well, once in Oxenfurt... You know how the saying goes.
Or: Jaskier has done some pretty nasty stuff in the past as a mage and that past might end up being more a blessing than a curse. But only time will show.

Summary
In a world where witchers were created with a built-in second chance when a normal man would die, Geralt believes he killed one of his brothers in the Tournament and refuses to cause the death of another witcher ever again. This might mean a lot more time rescuing his fellows, but also a lot more people who will come when the battle with the Wild Hunt finally calls.
Basically a retelling of Witcher 3 game with a lot of liberties taken. Almost everyone not met in game is inspired by inexplicifics' works one way or another, though none of them match exactly after they mutated these last two months of nonstop writing.
Written for the AWAU Fan Server Prompt Fest (Summer 2023) Prompt 3 "Animal Transformation". Though ultimately prompts 1, 4, and 5 all sort of snuck in there too. The first chapter was going to be a standalone thing, but then the story just kept coming, so I figured I'd finish it instead of making it a series.
