Tim tried to believe, if only for a little while. In kindergarten, his class had written letters to the big man...Tim's was only one sentence long.
"I want mommy and daddy home for Christmas."
They'd been in Egypt through New Year's.
He wrote again in first grade.
"Please let mom and dad be home for Christmas."
And in second.
"Please, if you are real at all, can you bring my parents home for Christmas?"
He hadn't really truly believed in the mythological man, but boy had he wanted to. Boy had he tried.

When at a Wayne Enterprises Christmas Gala, Tim meets "Santa". Reluctantly, Tim asks him for what he's always wanted for the holidays - to be with his family. He just might get his wish, even if it's not exactly in the way he would have ever imagined.

PREVIOUSLY TITLED: Look Who's Inside Again
An hour and a half later when Tim is throwing up in the bathroom the farthest from the ballroom that he dared to go, he realizes that he has severely fucked up. There is no way that Tim is going to be able to go back to the gala without puking all over Mr. Wayne’s pristine hardwood floor. Batman’s pristine hardwood floor.
Tim is breathing hard where he’s sitting, trying hard to think about what to do when there’s a soft knock on the door.
Tim swings it open and when he sees Jason Todd standing there, Tim resigns himself to whatever fate he’s signed himself off to by stupidly throwing up in one of Batman’s bathrooms.

Tim nodded.
“Have you heard of Alvin Draper before?”
Before he could stop himself Tim was taking in a sharp breath that sounded almost pained.
One of his men must have talked, he supposed that’s what you got when you hire anyone who’s interested, but it still hurt. Maybe he should create proper profiles on all of them once this is done so he can deduce who’s trustworthy and who isn’t.
“No,” Tim said, although he was aware how obviously it was a lie.

Big smile, hands on his hips, eyes lit up behind that black mask.
“I’m Robin!” Tim squeals, but it sounds nothing like him. His voice matches his size and demeanor, high pitched and soft and…happy. He lets out a giggle, flexing his arms in the mirror, giving a kick and a belated hi–yah.
“That’s not a Robin uniform,” Bruce points out belatedly. It’s not the part Jason was noticing, but he’s right. It’s thin cloth, and too loose. The right colors and shapes, Jason supposes, but still, there's something off about it.
“Well, that and he hasn’t met us, yet,” Dick points out. “He’s not old enough.”
“But this is supposed to be his first day as Robin," Damian argues. Jason agrees—something is very, very wrong.

“Alright, fine I’ll come over next weekend if you're so…” Dick trails off as he notices something strange on the sidewalk in front of him. “Jay I’ve got to go, I’ll call you back.”
“Dick, Wha-” Dick hangs up before Jason can finish, he feels bad, but this is more pressing. A small figure is trudging through the storm, occasionally stumbling like they’re injured. Far too tiny to be an adult.

Really good, cute story.
Bruce Wayne doesn't actually like going to parties, he tries his best to appear, show his face and hide. That's how he met Tim, a 2 year old who also lives dinosaurs (It's Bruce's secret that only Alfred and now Tim know)
We love Janet and Jack Drake, they love Tim and just want him to be happy. (Janet even gives Tim really rare presents from her gift that low-key make Bruce's jaw drop. Like a literal dinosaur fossil. There's only 13 known in existence and they have a secret 14th)
Jack even has a convo with Bruce thanking him for being a friend to his baby because Tims so much more happier now.
Bruce is still Batman and feels bad that he has to lie to them

Summary
Peter felt as he was turning to dust. He felt how his healing factor was trying to stop it. He felt tears pricking his eyes. He felt words he was saying, even though all he could hear was a frantic heartbeat with a low hum of electricity. He felt arms holding him close.
When he woke up in an unfamiliar empty apartment in the city, that was even louder than Hell’s Kitchen on the worst nights. His Peter Tingle screamed. Only because of that, he knew he didn’t die.
Some time after, he met a bright red-green-yellow bird and befriend a boy who loved to read. And then he came face to face with a dark and maybe a little terrifying bat themed vigilante. There was also an awesome acrobat with a blue bird on his chest. And a little stalker in a too light for cool nights clothes but with an expensive camera.
