One morning he wakes up to find weird lesions on his shoulder blades, sending him on a walk that takes him to places he could never imagine. Book One of Two, concept by HollyOakhill on dA/Tumblr (I’m uncertain if the account under the same name on here is the same person, but I will amend this if that is the case.) Direct inspiration was pulled from Horns by Joe Hill for the beginning of the story and the sins Dean bears, though it quickly deviates. There’s also some inspiration from the anime, Haibane Renmei, in regards to the way that the wings are received by the characters.
