Summary
Patroclus has never been one to try and grab the spotlight. His sister Briseis, on the other hand, seems determined to shove him into one. Suddenly he's being dragged to the Winters Ball. His sister, on a mission, to find himself a companion. Little did Patroclus know he'd find something much, much more.
(I was listening to Helpless from Hamilton, thought of Patrochilles, now here we are lol)

Summary
Achilles is Phthia College’s top rower. Paris is its top soccer player. Briseis is a film student, and Helen is an asexual dancer who Menelaus keeps bothering. Patroclus is a transfer student from East Locris University who’s sitting at a local Subway familiarizing himself with the city and being a good studious student and trying not to stare at the incredibly handsome golden-haired boy sitting nearby, when – was that a camera flash?
And thus begins the adventures of Patroclus and Achilles, or, in other words, in which Achilles is completely smitten with Patroclus and Patroclus is trying his hardest to deny he has a crush on Phthia’s golden boy.

Summary
"If his father had been here, though, would he have seen Patroclus? Would he have thought of him as a valuable member of the camp, as someone worthwhile, as the son he’d always wanted?
At least he wouldn’t be any more disappointed than he always was.
Or maybe he would. The gods only knew."

Summary
A snap echoed through the forest.
The spell broke, in an instant.
He watched as the nymph - no, just a boy, he could see now, around his age - turned towards them, stretched long and straight as a frightened rabbit, wide eyed, terrified, stumbled back a step and ran into the trees.
Before he knew it, Achilles had run after him.
————
Though the king tried to silence them, the son remained.

Summary
From their childhood in Phthia in the 90’s, and later in Pelion, to their lives as lawyers in Troy, the city of gangs and corruption, Achilles and Patroclus navigate their relationship in a world mixing romance, thriller and comedy with the help of Briseis, Automedon, Paris and Helen (who are a more iconic duo than a twink and a redhead).
This is the second version—revised and augmented—of my first fic.
“Patroclus? Do you understand?” Do you understand. The cruelty of adults. They usually asked questions like this as if they expected only a simple and reluctant nod of obedience. But the worried voice and the pity in the eyes of the social worker in front of Patroclus made him think there was more to it this time. And the truth was, he did not understand. [...] Out of habit, he nodded. Whether he meant it or not had never mattered before. The social worker stood up, gave him a sad smile and ruffled his hair, as if to scatter his thoughts, and left, leaving him alone in the colorful yet dull room of the social center. A hair ruffle for a gone mother.

Summary
Everyone in all of mighty Achaea knows of how protective and proud Menoetius is of his only son — so much so that it reflects in the boy's very name — Patroclus. Pride of the father. The boy has been a revered figure since the very day of his birth, given he is an omega in a land where his kind are not only worshipped but are also rarely descended from royal families because of their very strong alpha lineage.
Now eighteen, and eligible for marriage, suitors begin visiting the grand walls of Opus to have a chance to catch a look at the prince, and possibly gain his hand. Menoetius gives his son the leave to choose his husband, but it does not mean he will make it easy for anyone to just whisk him away. So he plucks a few pages out of books of older traditions and revives "Athlos" — a series of games that had once been held in the honour of omegas, to allow them to see and select the best of the alphas for themselves. To separate the wheat from the chaff.
Menoetius watches mighty princes trip over each other for his Patroclus. For him, it is a challenge — a dare to see who could take away his precious son from him. He already sees himself as the victor.
What he does not expect is the Prince of Phthia.

Summary
"Patroclus and Achilles loved and loved and loved each other, but never spoke a word of it into existence. They continuously circled around each other, like animals, like dancers, like the earth and it’s moon. They were each other’s sun and stars and planets and everything else that had such a strong gravitational pull that they were helpless to it.
One beautiful autumn evening, Patroclus thought it was time he changed that."
OR: Patroclus and Achilles were friends since the beginning of time, until they became something more.

Summary
Patroclus had lived his life as if he was a wave in the sea. His existence was a collection of moments where he was made alive through others’ pain. Every instance where he was needed, Patroclus broke through the surface. He sunk to the depths of the water in moments between.
Or
The gods give Patroclus a gift that is meant to balance the destruction created by his other half. This changes nothing and everything.

As the Trojan War keeps drudging on with no end in sight, Agamemnon sends out missives to the remaining Kings of Greece, calling on them as reinforcements to break the stalemate. King Menoitius of Opus has no choice but to comply. He presents himself at the Greek camp with his army, unaware that this path would put him on a collision course with the son he'd banished more than a decade ago.
What is to ensue when the estranged father and son reunite on the blood-soaked land?

Summary
“I won’t let her hurt you.” Achilles was whispering, but his words took hold of his mind.
Patroclus does not know what to say. The line was made; the sides drawn. He had lunged himself into the flames.
“I would burn for you.” His confession spoke for both, unraveling all. His heart dispersed, like the dawning of a new sun.
With the games being hosted in his homeland, Patroclus holds hope that the morale of Opus will be uplifted despite his father’s declining favor. But throughout the tournament, hidden agendas begin to unravel as secret alliances are made and deception is played. Along with whispers of a rebellion group lurking about, shadows from his past come forth and threaten the future for both him and his home. With his sister’s sudden kidnapping and his newfound companionship with Achilles fueling the political upset, Patroclus finds himself having to step into the role of a leader for the first time.
His sister was the light of his life, but Achilles was his soul’s twin flame.

Summary
It took me a couple of moments to register his placement and the fine cut of his clothing and realize he must be the prince. No one had told me there was a prince in this kingdom. His eyes met mine, and I smiled at him, almost out of instinct. He looked surprised but smiled back at me. It was polite, and almost embarrassed, like he had been caught doing something he wasn’t supposed to do. When he looked away, I felt a little bit disappointed.

These are the rules of observation.
