That was up until his tenth birthday. Quirks and how they work have always fascinated him so come to his surprise he can use his friend's quirk after figuring out how it works. He just didn't know that his new quirk came with a dark secret and origin. Well, he didn't know for about five minutes until he was kidnapped and held captive for five years under his 'father's' thumb. The damage was already done as Izuku doesn't think he can be a hero anymore after being rescued, but Bakugou Katsuki never gave up on him and now, neither will Aizawa Shouta. All the people Izuku meets along the way will show him that little kid inside of him, begging to be saved, dreaming of becoming a hero, isn't bound by limits that don't exist because only he can decide what those are.
