Summary
The moment he steps within Viktor’s vicinity, it’s easy to reach out and grab his hand, to pull him into a hug, to breathe in his scent and relax, to hold him close. He’s warm– he’s warm and alive, held in Jayce’s arms, and this isn’t a trick. It’s reminiscent of when Viktor dropped down from the cocoon of the Hexcore, when he held him close. But back then, Viktor was oddly cold, and had vocalized that he wasn’t even sure if he felt that. Now– now, Viktor is giving his telltale squirm of discomfort he does when it’s warm, and it thrills Jayce to see this, to see that feeling back in him. He practically melts against him, exhaling shakily with relief as his brain finally calms down enough at the confirmation that Viktor is here, alive, safe.

“I bet you fuck like an animal,” Viktor grits, a slight flush appearing on his cheeks, on the bridge of his nose. His bun has started to get a little messy. “Messy and guttral.”

“I absolutely would not,” Viktor hisses, undulating against the touch, the flush traveling to the exposed skin of his chest and throat.
“No?” Jayce digs his nails in between Viktor’s thighs, using his strength to rip a hole in the the silky-soft tights all of a sudden. Viktor reacts with a harsh, delighted gasp, his nails digging into Jayce’s neck. His pupils are blown and a wild look takes over his eyes. “Fucking thought so. Look at you, spreading your legs in a fucking library. Your place of work.”
