    But the rebellion caught in red hand seems to be a blessing in disguise as he finally escaped the clutches of the wicked woman he called his mother for 6 years, learning of his true identity in the process.

    "Neither of us are in our right minds,” Percy forces out through gritted teeth. “I’ll send you into heat.”

    Apollo smiles wryly, taking another step. “My mind is perfectly clear.”

    “I don’t think you’d be looking at me like that if that was the case.”

    Apollo keeps walking until he’s made it to the bed, crawling onto the mattress. “That’s absurd,” he disagrees, scooting closer. “I’ve always wanted you. Everybody wants you.”

    He wants to reach out, to cup his face and kiss him, deep and reassuring. He settles for prying Percy’s knees apart instead, slotting himself between them.

    “You’re really tempting fate, here,” Percy chuckles nervously, gulping.

    “The Fates and I get along great, actually,” he grins. “Trust me, this is what I want,” he promises, fingers dancing up Percy’s hard chest. He leans up, whispering against Percy’s ear, taunting, "Alpha."

Well, they hadn't been his own decisions, but those made by others, especially his father, but he still had a lot of regrets. He had been born an Omega and from the beginning he had been taught that one day he would belong to an Alpha and that he had to have children and he knew it was wrong, but what was he to do? With the help of his sister, he learned to read and write and secretly became quite clever, but no one asked an Omega about their opinions.

    But the real world outside of Apollo's mind had never left him and then his father managed to sell him to the future king. Prince Hephaestus. Apollo didn't know him, but it didn't matter, he had to marry him.

    But it did not go as planed...
