Summary
Castiel was sold by those who were supposed to protect him, the proceeds used to pay off his parents' debts. He was up for sale yet again, after a thorough examination by a doctor revealed that the Alpha who purchased him had been swindled, as Castiel was a broken Omega. Ordered not to say a word, he sat on the porch and waited for fate to guide him to where he is needed most.
Dean went off to war as a young man and served his country valiantly. But the nightmare didn't end when he was rescued from the camp where he'd been held by brutal monsters.
