Caught up in his thoughts as he was, he forgot about the guy following him until he felt a hand land on his shoulder. He turned and froze when he saw the red hued eyes knowing it wasn't a human. He wondered if this would be the end after all.
The man said, “You are dangerously cold for a human. I can not allow this to continue.”
Before Sam could ask what the guy meant by that he was landing in a warm room that he didn't recognize. The drastic change in temperature had him swaying even with the hand on his shoulder. He went to step away and things began to blur.
The man said, “Sam, you really should take better care of yourself,” snapping his fingers.

Lucifer decided he wanted to surprise Sam with a trip out to a mountain side resort but he was not sure how Sam would react to the surprise. Sam could be stubborn about such things as especially when he was the subject of the pampering. Perhaps he could get Sam to agree to a deal. He smiled at the thought and went to find Sam who was probably in the library looking for lore on something his brother and Castiel were looking for. Lucifer walked into the library to find Sam asleep hunched over several books.
