Summary
A photocopier shouldn't be a detective. An android shouldn't be a detective. It shouldn't be protective of itself over a human.
An android shouldn't be terrified that all of these things... really are coming true. -

Summary
Connor arrives to help the DPD with the deviancy case, investigates, hunts, and irritates Hank, the usual. The twist? Connor… is a bit different. Okay, very different. What were they thinking back at CyberLife, sending a dog? Hank already had one at home, thank you very much.

Summary
You were never supposed to exist.
An RK700. An earlier model meant to do Connor's job, but scrapped before you ever got the chance to leave the assembly line. Deemed a failure. Tossed in the dump. But you rebuilt yourself, piece by piece, and carved out a new life doing what you were made for: solving crimes.
You knew working at the DPD was risky, but passing as human and hiding in plain sight shouldn't be too hard... until CyberLife sends in a new partner. The android who replaced you. The one designed to find everything you're pretending not to be.
And he’s very good at his job.
It'll take you 5 mins to read the first chapter, give it a try ;) I am very proud of this story! Also, if you usually don't like android MC stories, I promise this one is so worth it. I didn't either, but just trust me...

Summary
Lucille Beltran was a BL200, a commissioned dream partner android by a now passed Detroit elite. His final wishes were for her to live a real life with no ties to his name. She changed her last name to Beltran and formed a new identity. Using her model’s ability to read people and charm, she became a police officer at DPD. She slowly worked her way up in the ranks and became one of the youngest detectives on the force. She keeps to herself mostly besides her partner on the force Chloe. When Chloe goes on maternity leave, she is reassigned to a new partner, Lt. Hank Anderson. Everything is fine until she finds out Lt. Anderson has an android as his companion. Not just any android, an android made to find deviants.
(This story does not follow the plot of Detroit: Become Human. I don’t want to watch many videos or play the game to get exact dialogue and plot points perfectly. I applaud everyone who has the patience to do so. I’m not sure how long this will be or how often I’ll update but I will do my best. I hope you enjoy my first work here. Comment corrections or edits if I mess something up)

Summary
You return to work at the Detroit Police Department after a suspension, only to find yourself partnered with a highly advanced android named Connor, sent by CyberLife, to assist in Deviate investigations. At first, you don’t know what to make of him. He’s efficient, eerily perceptive, and far too polite for your liking. His unwavering curiosity about human behavior, his attempts to understand humor, and his unexpected wit make it difficult to see him as just another machine. The more time you spend with Connor, the more blurred the line becomes. His logic is sound, his actions methodical, yet sometimes, just sometimes, you catch glimpses of something else—curiosity, hesitation, perhaps even emotion. As the case unfolds, so does your perspective. Connor insists androids don’t feel, yet his actions hint otherwise. And though you won’t admit it, you’re starting to see him differently.
AKA. You're inserted into Detroit: Become Human.

Summary
After the Stratford Tower broadcast, Sergeant Arief Holman of DPD Narcotics began to wonder if androids were truly alive.
A conversation with the prototype detective android, who showed concern for his dysfunctional partner, was perhaps the insight he needed.
Written for OC Dynamics Week 2025.

Summary
One day in September, Hank was introduced to his new temporary partner: RK800.
He fucking hated androids, but that didn't mean he wished Honeypot Missions on them - he was not a complete monster. At last androids wouldn't suffer the ill-effects human officers got after this shit, right? -

Summary
The gunshot had rocked him to his core. He'd known exactly what it meant.
Making the decision to break through his programming hadn't even been an choice. It simply happened. And Connor had, as anyone else would have, rushed into the house, surely a tomb now, screaming and desperately attempting to resurrect his partner, perhaps the only living being who'd given him a chance, and the only living being who truly needed him. It didn't matter that his programming described the body as DECEASED.

Summary
“Moment of truth, Hank. Am I a living being… or just a machine?”
Hank stares at him, now. His eyes, full of life just earlier today, when he reminded Connor of how he’d spared Kamski’s android, are now glossy with something else.
He preconstructs every possibility. He knows the regret in the man’s gaze will not save him. He knows he is unsalvageable, a heartless monster. He just waits, now, for him to let go.
Except:
“Was everything fake?”
And Connor stares.
“What?”
( Or, Connor has one last chance to become deviant, on that fateful night, on that one rooftop. As always, it is Hank to reach his hand out to him and offer it. )
