Summary
Frodo never had his great love story. So we're aiming to change that.
Neera Greenleaf...She's Legolas' daughter, descended from the first wife of Isildur, the one who killed Sauron. As punishment for contributing to his demise, Sauron left one final curse. Until the Ring was destroyed, every person and lover in her line would die in an endless cycle of pain, death, madness and heartbreak. Only Isildur could save his bride from such torment. But when the time came, he cast her aside and the loss of his life and the ring set a bloody trail that was a broken family legacy. One with tremendous immortality and power...with the weakness of death by one single lover.

But when she meets Frodo Baggins, she finds it difficult to keep her vow. Love at first sight was something Neera never believed in...until she gazed into his eyes for the first time.
But then, she finds herself on a quest to destroy the thing that curses her, the one Ring of Power, as well as the task of protecting Frodo. But the question remains, is their love able to survive?

Emma Baird falls asleep outside an unusual set of ruins while camping in the Irish countryside. When she wakes, she finds herself being chased through unfamiliar trees by creatures torn out of her worst nightmares and no way home.
Maybe she should have listened to her friends and finally read those books instead of solely relying on her movie knowledge to guide her.

Summary
In which the Fellowship has a much bigger quest to worry about. The group has broken up after the events of FotR, but one prison break, one magic ritual, and several prophecies later, they're off to destroy the Ring of Melkor and break the siege of Minas Tirith. The problem is, they're not exactly what the city was hoping for.
Pippin is presently reconsidering his life choices. Being kidnapped by the Uruk-hai, for example, was not part of the plan. Neither was becoming the vahka 'en heledh and trying not to dial Melkor every other minute. And falling in love with the princess of Long Cleeve may have been the biggest deviation of all. But Pippin rarely has a plan to deviate from, so it must be fate.
Aragorn is trying not to fall apart. He's pretty sure he's going to be the worst king ever, and not just because of the prophecies that say he'll likely bring about the fall of Middle-earth. Oh, and he has to destroy another all-powerful ring with a couple of hobbits, one of whom has a direct hotline to Mordor. What could possibly go wrong?
AU where Merry and Pippin don't escape from the Orcs, Diamond comes into the story a bit early...and Boromir doesn't stay dead for long.

Summary
After Arathorn's death, Gilraen took her small son, Aragorn, to Rivendell for safety. There, she discovered her husband had not left this world without leaving her one final gift: she was expecting another child. He spoke in bewilderment. What had brought on this change in her?
Hearing her name, she snapped to attention, her eyes trying to focus not once, but twice before pushing herself out of his embrace. She shot him a sour look, and as he came to realize a drunken one too. She was far drunker than he had realized.
"Don't you dare touch me..."
She mumbled, and made an attempt to walk away, but nearly fell in her drunkeness, before Legolas caught her. She was not getting away this time.- Note; this is Book 4, hence it will very little sense unless you read Book 1-3, as there are many changes from the Original story line -

Summary
Kara is at the end of her nursing shift when a violent man is brought in with an arrow wound. When he spits blood on her, Kara is transported elsewhere. Soon she's doing emergency wound care on book characters and trying not to lose it. She can't watch people suffer even if it isn't real, but Aragorn is very suspicious of a woman who tells no clear story and smells like an orc.
“Stranger things have happened than you or I have years to tell of it," Gandalf said. "Why does she unsettle you? Surely you do not feel threatened. I am tolerably certain you could defeat her if it came to violence.”
Aragorn scoffed at his gentle humor. “I’m glad to amuse you. There are more dangers than warriors and swords. Need I tell a wizard that?"
“I can assure you she is not evil and has not a whisper of magic.”
“Yet a beautiful woman appears directly in our path, leagues from civilization, and immediately gains the hobbits’ trust. No wizardry, you say?”
Kara was not *unhappy* at being called a beautiful woman (although his standards for human women, as opposed to elves, were probably low), but she was unhappy to be stuck eavesdropping. She’d seen this scene too many times in movies. They would definitely see her. -
