Being “normal” for the Dursleys yielded great results in improving his standard of living, and as he heads off to Hogwarts he still retains that impulse to keep his head down and blend in. Of course, life isn’t as simple as that, and Harry is a magnet for trouble. And what does "normal" really mean, anyway? She could comprehend the words, the name and the meaning. She understood that his name being on the roster meant he was the starting Beater for England’s national team, but for whatever reason, when her eyes ran over the black ink, her brain could not articulate any emotions or reaction.

Five years post-war, and Percy Weasley is fine. He’s the head of the Department of Magical Transportation, his exes are getting married (to each other), and he’s now responsible for ensuring the safe travels of half the wizarding population to The World Cup. He also has totally normal feelings toward the coworker he absolutely cannot stand.
It’s only for a year. He only has to work with her for a year. Even if she’s friends with half his siblings. And half his friends. Even if he can’t stop dreaming of her in compromising positions, he only has to work with her for a year before her contract is up.
It’s been five years, and he is absolutely fine. Some girl from Magical Creatures isn’t going to change that.

Hugo doesn't see what everyone else around him does: how he is walking down the path into exhaustion while pursuing his career as a Healer. And why should he? He has it figured out.
Hermione has returned to live a Muggle life. Even if she has a successful career, there are still several issues to resolve before she can sit back and enjoy her life.
Ginny has been through a lot, but she chooses to continue living her life. Some days, it seems that she can only hope that her husband chooses to do the same thing.

Except that when he gets there he has to try and explain to the receptionist that he knows he still has to pay for the Honeymoon suite but he’d really rather not sleep in it.
