Summary
The Regretevator was a constant paradox in it of itself. Something that shouldn't exist, yet it does, with having abilities to access different realities beyond ours, and with people we would have never thought to have seen. With the years it was to have existed, it had to expand it's boundaries further and farther, going beyond the simple minds of those who decide to take participation in seeing these realities for themselves. Meeting beings like themselves, and others who are nothing alike. Facing different points in realities with faring difficulty all the time, from a simple playplace, to an extended hallway; filled by plasma. After all this time, people were to have thought that there was no more to see, and that this was the pinnacle of what the elevator can do.
They were wrong.
With a being's influence, and another's choice, the Regretevator goes through the most strenuous expansion it has done so far. The people we are used to meeting shall see others, old and new. Other floors, long abandoned and newly freshened shall be explored. A forgotten god joins the fray and discovers how to live and feel once more, and a new foe shows to corrupt all once more from the expansive shadows of Continuum.

A series of one-shots/ mini stories featuring various platonic (and possibly romantic???) pairings of Regretevator NPCS/ characters!
Each one ranges from 2000 - 9000 words (haha I go a little insane sometimes)There's a lack of Regretevator content, so I hope to fulfill! (°∀°)b
I write these for fun/ to get myself to write more, and most of the relationships and stories are NON-CANON other than some particular referenced interactions, character traits/lore, and game references! I create a lot of my own concepts and ideas, so take them as just random ideas my brain conjures up!For a lack of confusion, the one-shots don't correlate to one another unless it's a multiple-parter. Other than that, each story is individual! You can perceive it as you want though, because I might make several references to previous writings throughout.

There was an individual casually strolling down the hall, quite cheerfully, as if doing so was part of specific routine. The robloxian wore bright clothing, a neon pink shirt and a purple beanie. Shaggy brown hair emerged from his hat and framed his face. Lampert had to squint his eyes in an attempt to read the shirt. It was futile. By the time he could make out the “TOUGH GUYS WEAR-–” the robloxian turned around in the opposing corner of the lampshade.
Lampert could instantly tell this robloxian was unlike the rest. He resided on these floors like the other individuals he’s met before.

“1’ll H4VE Y0U KN0W TH4T I-” His comeback was struck short when he sneezed once again, cruelly wiping his nose with his forearm before continuing, “My d4d 1s builderman! Y0ur tHR3ATS MEAN N0THING! >:[“Lampert watched as the robloxian shook his arms quite aggressively. He sure was expressive. He also had such an unconventional but captivating way of speaking. As if the lampshade didn’t just ominously threaten to ruin his life for indirectly spreading his germs, the robloxian continued to babble.
“S0… I n3ver seen y0u 1n h3Re b3F0Re…Ar3 y0u n3W?” He turned to look at the lamp, initial displeasure melted from his features, replaced by one akin to interest.
“New? I’ve been here for a while and I haven’t seen you either.” Lampert replied, in quite the matter-of-factly manner.
“W3ll, th4t makes tw0 of us! :D” The robloxian casually announced. “D0 u liek mudk1pz? Xp”

“You aren’t pulling my tail?”Infected eyed the electrical cord swinging behind the lampshade. “Y0, Id N3vER bE l4me enuff to d0 s0meTH1ng lieK th4T!” He snickered. “1f Y0U Plugg3d It Int0 th3 W4ll, W0uld y0ur H3ad L1ght Up?!”
“What.” Lampert took a moment to realize he took the jeer seriously, and then sighed, shaking his head. “What? No… I mean, yes— That’s not the point.” Infected laughed again, to Lampert’s disdain.
“So you’ve just been sick for your entire life?” Lampert promptly changed the subject, unable to avoid his curiosity at the prospect.
Infected suddenly stopped laughing, clearing his throat, and rubbed at his eyebags. The action seemed to be a force of habit. “N0 1d3A. I tH1nK… M4ybe?”
“And you haven’t ever bothered to take medicine?”
At this, the robloxian genuinely looked displeased at the suggestion, theatrically holding a hand up to his heart and gasping. “Wh4t!! Rly? WhY W0Uld 1 d0 th4t?!”
Right. Lampert was done questioning the anomalies, and he decided to simply be contemptuous with the current amount of information he was able to gain. After all, the robloxian’s name is Infected. Maybe being sick was just a specific trait he possessed. The lamp would surely learn more about him overtime.
