Light claims to have fallen for him, to explain away some strange behaviors. L is determined to catch him as Kira, and they lock in a stalemate of sorts. -

When criminals start dying of heart attacks, Sayu and Ryuk suspect another death note to be behind this. Fearing for her father's safety, after he joins a task force, led by the infamous and mysterious detective L, to bring down Kira, Sayu decides she needs to find the fellow death note owner first.
She had not expected, to want to help them, becoming Kira's partner in crime. At least Sayu Yagami was no longer bored.

En la mayoría de los casos, la libreta caía en el tiempo actual y en ciudades grandes, así que cuando Ryuk se encontró en una humilde cabaña de techo de paja junto a un huerto de manzanas en medio del campo, se sorprendió mucho. Luego toda su atención se dirigió al árbol de donde comenzó a comer compulsivamente los frutos como si no hubiera un mañana…
