Shiroko found herself working closely with the fleet leader as they struggled to maintain the fragile peace, for open warfare would be a worse option, since her school had become the centre of the most significant Great Power conflict in Kivotos's history.

The continued post-game adventures of Shadowzel!
Lae'zel and Shadowheart have been through HELL together and come out the other side way more than friends. Read along as they come to terms with losing large parts of their self-identities, gaining each other, and their experience in building a healthy relationship. The story also explores the consequences of their adventures together! The story picks up on the docks of Buldur's gate after Astarion runs off and Karlach travels back to Avernus to live another day. While they will face hardships (every relationship does!), I plan on keeping it relatively light and fun.
Notes:
1. This story is a long one. I have quite a few situations I'd like to explore and plot holes to fill.
2. Shadowheart's parents are alive and she still copes with the incurable wound because of it.
3. These are the thoughts and situations that live in my head rent free, everyone's welcome!
4. Just in case it makes a difference, I am a Lae'zel's is taller than Shadowheart truther.

Turns out, the "fisherman" is Marco the Phoenix, the Whitebeard Pirates’ First Division Commander, Ace’s future… something (if only he remembered) and currently just some annoyingly hot stranger who keeps staring at Ace like he’s a puzzle.
(Or: Time travel erased Ace's memories, but not his terrible life choices. Marco expected many things today. A hot Marine crashing into his life (and boat) wasn't one of them.)

Cricketsong was at his back and a warm breeze squeezed past him and into the library, twinning around the shelves and rustling papers like excited children at the end of summer.
