Five years after the events of Pokemon Platinum, the remnants of Team Galactic had managed to resummon the master of the dark dimensions, Giratina. However when it was conjured back in Sinnoh, it instead opened up several portals to completely different worlds, one of them being right in the Kentucky 'Knox Event' from twenty years in the past. The following weeks consisted of a bad smell, followed by an entirely foreign disease that ravaged the entire world which only seemed to affect the human population, rather than any sort of indigenous Pokemon. We follow a security guard named Ivan Strolum, who used to live a fairly average life to a desperate attempt to stay alive with his own Pokemon. Will he be able to so much as see some sort of end to this utter hell, or will this be the way how he died?

A mysterious transmission broadcasts a video across the globe on all TV networks. Anyone who views the video or a copy of the video is transformed into a Pokemon. Within an hour, only 40% of the human population remains unaffected. The next day, it's down to just 12%.
What remains of the United States military has evacuated survivors to a secure underground bunker. There, the few scientists still available work to study the video, determine the source of its effects, and hopefully find a way to reverse them.
When Subject C0001 volunteered to be a test subject, all he asked for was a way to record his thoughts as time went on, to hopefully maintain a sense of self.

Now follow the story of five lads. Two young Irish tankers two older and gruff homeless S.A.S vets and the young lad they adopted as their own. For those who don't wish to stay in one place, clans of travellers roam across the land in great convoys of wagons, carrying goods from settlement to settlement as they pass.
Because sons were seen as more valuable than daughters, men now outnumber women three to one across most of the land. As such, when König finds you after a revenge raid on your clan, he takes the most of the opportunity that has been pushed into his life and takes you as his new bride.
