"So Ellie is also shooting?" You mused with a hard expression on your face. That bitter coffee and the mention of Ellie didn't really lighten your day.
"One of the best." Tess said before turning to walk off. You glanced at the door. Before you could reach for the handle, the door swung open, almost colliding with your nose. Maria stood there with a smug expression on her face.
"Right on time." She grinned and stepped aside to give you space to enter. You looked down at your feet as you stepped in, then stole a glance at Maria. Once you finally looked up, you saw it. A woman squinting her eyes aiming at a target.
Ellie.
It had to be her.
Almost as if on cue, she glanced up in your direction. God, this whole time, you'd just been bitter at the fact that there's someone so much better than you. You forgot the possibility that she could've been hot as hell. In this case- she fucking is.
And suddenly the name Ellie felt a bit more welcoming on your tongue.
