A phenomenally written series with great character chemistry, compact prose, a fleshed-out romance, an intriguing fantasy setting that combines three distinct timelines, and will have you cheering by the end. I cannot wait for the final installment to come out!
Also worth noting that Crazy Little Thing Called Love does the romantasy genre LEAGUES better than Booktok slop like Lightlark or Fourth Wing. See Rebecca Yarros and Alex Aster, you can write a good romantic fantasy story which gives equal focus to the fantasy and romance, while having a lead couple that doesn't fall into lazy tropes or romanticize abusive behaviours.
Absolute Kino.
