Trick AU Treat: Bitten
Caroline and Pierre had waited what felt like ages to meet Olive, Abigail’s girlfriend and the new farmer in town. Although, at this point “new” was relative. Once, while moving between the house and the storefront Pierre had overheard Abigail on the phone, a whine to her voice.
“Uh... Olive? We've been dating for almost a year. Is this going anywhere?”
While Pierre had learned his lesson the hard way that being overbearing would just push Abby away, this was too far. His little girl deserved better, and he was going to give a piece of his mind to that farmer if he had to make it happen himself!
And that’s how they ended up having a very, painfully awkward family dinner.
