Water. Earth. Fire. Air.
Alpha. Beta. Omega.
My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days. A time of peace, when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribe, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads, and between the roles that shaped all of society. But that all changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
Only the Avatar mastered all four elements and united alpha guardianship, beta integrity, and omega devotion in harmony. But when the Fire Nation struck, they shattered that order. Only he could stop the ruthless firebenders from crushing all beneath their rule. But when the world needed him most, he vanished.
A hundred years have passed, and the Fire Nation is nearing victory in the war. Two years ago, my father and the last of our warriors and hunters journeyed to the Earth Kingdom to help fight against the Fire Nation, leaving me and my brother to hold our tribe together. Some people believe that the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads, and that the cycle was broken. But I haven't lost hope. I still believe that somehow, someday, the Avatar will return to restore balance to the elements, and to our bonds.

Summary
The war is over, but for Commanders Sokka and Kiyoi of the United Demilitarisation Task Force, (Sokka is still working on the name) don't have time to rest. The South Sea archipelago has been over taken by Fire Nation warlords rebelling against Zuko's new rule, determined to continue the war their ancestors started.
However, right now, things are slow. It is the Winter Solstice; the longest, darkest night of the year—and a time when the veil between worlds is thin. As Sokka plans a morale-boosting feast for their mixed-nation crew, Kiyoi insists on caution. The longest night is for enduring, not celebrating, a deeply held conviction rooted in the Fire Nation's fear of weakness. In her mind the shortest day of the year is no cause for celebration.
But Sokka's plans might have an obstacle other than Kiyoi's unwavering commitment to practicality, as their vessel, the Retribution, sights a ship in distress far south of any shipping lane and unresponsive to their attempts to hail it, forcing the commanders to investigate.Series

The same night Ursa had given birth to her daughter is when her three year old son disappears, her husband is no help as Ozai is far too busy trying plot his way to the throne, the search continues yet Zuko is no where to be found, Soon the far away rumors of the mysterious Blue Spirit who avenges the souls of the innocent with a swift blade keep pouring into the castles rumor mill from all nations
On the night of her granddaughter’s third birthday the childe walks into a raging blizzard lured by the call of the spirits, she like all the others is never to be seen again while the village slept none the wiser to Katara’s fate, the search ends within the next new moon the tribe knows that no lost childe could’ve survived that blizzard, soon Kanna starts hearing far away rumors whispered by the sea herself regarding a Painted Lady healing people with genuine care no matter which nation they hail from
Yet It is the stories they don’t need to hear that become more then simply rumors made legends, events only meant to be witnessed first hand as the world changes, then eventually the Avatar who is apparently a 12 year old boy returns, Sokka found him in a iceberg while hunting.

Summary
Zuko has always believed in destiny. When he was a little kid, his mother used to tell him he was destined to greatness.
Sokka has always thought all that conversation about spirits and destiny were just a bunch of mumbo-jumbo that would eventually freeze his butt. Literally, thank you very much, Katara.
But when Zuko decides to join the Avatar in Ba Sing Se, him and Sokka will have to confront the fact that maybe that was just meant to be... destiny.

You and Zuko were friends for years, after his mother died you only got closer, close enough to stand up to his father for him. Which unfortunately got you banished. Your father as,as told you how corrupt the fire nation was and that you’d be better off staying on kyoshi island. A few months after you turn 16, a strange group of children appear on the island. And apparently zuko follows them closely wherever they go. He’s going against everything you knew him to stand for so you decide to help out the avatar and his friends. Every time you come across him you hope that he realises he’s in the wrong.

But Ozai had always demanded loyalty, and although Azula carried out his every command, he had no doubt that his daughter would betray him if it benefited her. But there was one person who had given him his undying loyalty since day one. The person who he had burned and sent away. And now he has a feeling he never had before: shame.
And dammed he be if he’ll let his position as Zuko’s father be stolen by some water tribe chief. A position he didn’t deserve, but now wanted to have.
