But before he could fully rise, Sonic seemed to straighten up and almost freeze, a hand suddenly held out but stopped from making contact as though afraid. His eyes were wide, no trace of any casual grin on what almost seemed an unusually pale muzzle.

He had ran to tell pops and Izou that Ace was the kid that baited Teach. That he must remember everything. They were excited to hear that, until he said that Teach went to the East Blue. Thatch was given permission to chase after him. Arriving just in time to save his little brother.
