His communicator pinged. X could only whine softly, curling up on his tighter and hoping the overwhelming feeling of wrong would pass.
Another ping.
A few minutes later, another.
He blinked slowly. The waves of nausea were becoming less intense but were no less debilitating, so he curled up on his side and closed his eyes.
If he’d managed to stay awake just a couple of moments longer, he would have heard his communicator start to buzz nonstop as calls and messages from his Hermits flooded the line.
But he didn’t.
Or, Xisuma has been dealing with chronic nausea, but desperately tries to hide it. He doesn't want to be a burden. He isn't a burden.

It is only during Season Nine, when they end up in Empires does Xisuma learn that the young Admin he had grown so fond of is Grian.

Summary
Playing Hotguy in the shopping was all fun and games until Scar was distracted shooting a bow at Grian and Pearl to realise that he slammed into their admin in a full set of Netherite armour. He saw Xisuma’s head collide with the ground in a whiplash fashion,his heavy duty visor splintering immediately sending glass everywhere. He sat on the grass next to the admin in pure shock as Grian and Pearl hastily flew down next to him. He shuffled next to the admin as Pearl tried to get some sort of sign that X could hear them. The glass from his visor had created little cuts that littered his face. Grian started tapping at the helmet trying to get X’s attention when Xisuma blinked open his eyes uncharacteristically slowly.

Summary
Xisuma was tired. So tired. The type of exhaustion that drove deep into your bones weighing you down. The code in front of him blurred together in a way that he couldn’t make out any words. He didn’t remember the last time he’d had something to eat and he had been hauled up in his office for days. A bug had gotten onto the server through one of the hermits that had been off world for mcc. The bug was duplicating and fast. It was glitching textures, making entities disappear, freezing water and causing lava to levitate. Pearl had messaged him about her sheep farm, sheep disappearing at an alarming rate, Mumbo’s red stone not working because the signal kept freezing up and Some of the blocks hermits would place would disappear causing many casualties while end busting . It was havoc.
