He knew this, and yet the only ending to that feeling of depression his mind could conjure up was for him to run away, to escape, to disappear, to just cease to exist. That urge to escape his depressing existence by ending it all - along with all possibilities of a future of happiness, a future of hope. A future where he enjoyed waking up and didn't feel a bitter sense of disappointment every time he opened his eyes.
