Jensen moves in with Jared's family in San Antonio when he is 14. He's been orphaned and physically and emotionally abused in the system. He finds safety and love with the Padaleckis and grows to adulthood.
Jared falls for Jensen at a young age and then has to wait for time, fate and circumstance to get them to the same place. Really lovely. Never feels incestous, although the love Jared's family has for Jensen is obvious.
A few Britishims, but otherwise well characterized and written.
