Summary
Tim Drake is in love with Danny Fenton, the bumbling, disastrous superhero known as Phantom. While Phantom is a competent ghost with a knack for saving the world, Danny is a total mess in everyday life, constantly setting things on fire, failing at basic tasks, and struggling with sleep. But Tim loves every chaotic, pathetic moment of it.

Tim’s mouth is set in a scowl, jaw tensed, anticipatory, like Jason is scaring him a little. But his eyes are clear and focused. Calculating. He’s studying Jason just as much as Jason is studying him.
Jason wonders what his own face looks like to the kid. He wonders if he looks as dead behind the eyes as the rest of the block’s regular prostitutes.
“I want to know how to work corners,” Tim says, flat. “I won’t take your good spots or your good customers, but if you could tell me how to, uh…market - be more marketable, how the game works here, I can repay you a portion of my earnings until -“
Oh, Jason does not have time for this.

Summary
The irony was, Dick didn’t see the green mist settle in until it was on his tongue. An acrid, medicinal film, seizing his lungs in a chokehold while he buckled over, hands clutching at his knees for a sense of stability.
His hand shot up to his mouth, it clamped around his nose, he held his breath; all attempts in vain to undo what he knew would begin soon.
He made an ‘abort’ gesture, stumbling back into the shadows. “Robin,” he rasped out. “Code Fern. I’ve been hit, we’re heading out.”
(or: dick gets hit with fear toxin. this experience reveals a lot of surprising conversations he needs to have with his brothers.)
