After, Jayce lays boneless and panting, and Viktor presses a kiss to his temple before he gets ready for the day.
“I will see you at the lab later,” he says, running his fingers through his hair, thrilling at the way Jayce nuzzles sweetly into his touch. “Take your time. I’ve laid out something you can wear.”
Viktor makes good on his promise to dress Jayce up in a skirt and fuck him in the lab.

Summary
The old-new hammer should feel heavy. Or, at least, as heavy as his previous one. It doesn’t. He lifts it like a flower plucked from the earth, adjusts it in his palms like a ball about to be pitched.
Still, he raises his instrument, chillingly light in his grip, and aims it squarely at his heart. The fear in Viktor’s eyes doesn’t suit him.

“Viktor left with someone. Tall, dark hair. I’m pretty sure that they were going to bed,” Cait whispers, leaning in conspiratorially.
The noise of the party fades into the background. Jayce thinks back to Viktor on the couch. His relaxed posture. His outstretched legs. His rapt attention on the man beside him. Tall, dark hair, probably handsome, clearly smart to be a student holding Viktor’s attention like that.
Except, there’s no way Viktor went to bed with that guy, because Viktor doesn’t sleep with anyone.
Right?

Summary
“You are so beautiful.”
Viktor stops in his tracks. If he closes his eyes, he can imagine Jayce saying that to him. Between the creak of furniture, whisper of fabric, and soft but hurried breathing; he can imagine it’s them. Which is pretty pathetic if Viktor is being honest with himself.
But as he stares blankly into the dark abyss of the stacks—as if staring down the black barrel of a gun—pathetic doesn’t sound so bad. Pathetic is better than paralysis. It’s better than regret.
And what are scientists if not curious?
Late one night, Viktor witnesses something he shouldn't and changes the trajectory of his relationship with Jayce forever.
