Summary: Hitoshi is seven years old when his dad has to explain to him why he can disappear randomly and come back five minutes later. His dad said he had the power to go across the multiverse and, “not to worry too much about it.” To say it was vague was an understatement.

Summary
Dean Winchester is alone. He's failed at being a husband, he's failed at keeping his brother safe from harm, and he's failed so badly he's run away from his life. Castiel knows Dean will never fall in love with him, no matter how long he pines for him. But when a witch curses Dean to lose his memory and Cas is called in to help, Dean starts flirting with him. Cas tries to focus on the case, he really does, but he’s caught up in the whirlwind of feelings Dean is stirring up. When he steps into a diner to pick up a bacon cheeseburger, milkshake, and a slice of pie for Dean, he gets taken by the Loughlins instead, leaving Dean alone in the cold.
Dean doesn’t remember the beautiful man with the bright blue eyes, but he’s warm and smells like Heaven, and his voice is deep like gravel road under tires. When the pretty man says, “I’m Cas. I’m your best friend,” Dean’s inclined to believe him, but there’s something else there: a fluttering in his chest, a gravitational pull.
“Are we dating?” No, but I wish we were.

Summary
Shouta Aizawa was a lot of things, but underprepared was not one of them.
Sure, he could be grumpy and cold - usually when bothered unnecessarily by his students or colleagues or when his access to coffee seemed to vanish and he was left to cope without caffeine fueling his every function.
Sure, he could be a little soft, but only when knelt down in alleyways, opening small cans of cat food for the local stray population to have something safe to eat, or for his husband in the cozy, intimate confines of their home when he could bask in the knowledge of just being there and existing with his Sunshine.
And sure, he could be a little pessimistic - or as he so adamantly referred to it: ‘Realistic’. It was his natural state of being to not hope for nor expect the best outcome, as nothing ever seemed to go right for him.
But the one thing Shouta Aizawa never was, was unprepared.
