And despite the cruelties of the previous Arlecchino, everyone seemed ready to trust her. Had they forgotten the horrors, the abuse, the distress, the former 'father' had put them through? Were they really all stupid enough to blindly trust again? But even after several years under The Knave's rule, when (name) had become a true member of the Fatui, she still would not trust Arlecchino, because trust was how she ended up at the House of the Hearth in the first place.
