There is nothing more annoying than a Tevinter magister with magic they're not supposed to have. Especially when they end up tearing a hole in reality, ripping strangers from another world, and dropping them at Hawke's feet.
Reagan already has trouble processing the world she knew. Now she ends up in an entirely new one, and the first introduction she has to it is a whole lot of dead bodies. Then she's informed that all the wonderful things of Earth - cell phones, plumbing, anti-depressents - are not a thing here. At least, Hawke's got a personality that leaves that aftertaste of ozone, the way Fenris likes to pretend he doesn't care is cute enough to be entertaining, and Anders reminds her of a skittish kitten.

A story that follows unraveling the mystery of a sister counterpart being displaced from her dimension as the Rise brothers and their family endeavor to lend their aid. In pledging to get her home, they also promise to help solve the crisis her New York is facing, leading to many encounters with both old and new faces. A new set of siblings, a new set of circumstances - one big family coming together to face their greatest threat yet.
Heavily focuses on themes of learning to love oneself, forgiveness, overcoming trauma, and strengthening familial bonds. Features many Rise-ified characters from various iterations, insert artwork for specifc moments (chapters 18, 24, 31, 39, and 50 currently), and is planned for four major arcs. EDIT Sept. 2024: In response to writer's block throttling me, I've been going back over chapters and fixing a few things that bother me; one of those things is diminishing the amount of accented writing. I'm not advocating against colloquial spelling - it's not always used to mock, and the majority here is own-voice accenting - it's just gotten hard for me to keep track of it all as I write. Chapters aren't getting edited in order, so you're going to see some inconsistency until it's all done. Lastly, some of the NSFW scenes have extra details that never made it to this site, so I'm fixing that. (Looking at _A Taste Without Tears_ in particular.)
