What stays the same? Does this hinder or aid their lives as hunters? And how does John react?Or the one where Dean has Asperger's and Sam worries too much sometimes. Not a rewrite cause I don't have patience for that, definitely an AU with lots of non-canon compliant plot. But fixed things (events or aspects that can't be changed remain. Season six's Titanic episode is a great example. Some things will change when one minor detail is altered while others the ones that are 'fixed' remain the same no matter what parallel universe.)

A frozen girl with bright green eyes shows up outside the bunker one night, frozen and beaten badly. When the Winchesters and the angels that occupy the bunker find her, they instantly jump into action. What the eldest Winchester wasn't expecting was to get attached to the little girl seeing himself in her, which turns out to bring out a lot of things Dean has tried to bury over the years.
Castiel might bring John Winchester back from the dead to kill him again.

Cas is confused why both kids follow him around like lost puppies, but Dean finds the sight adorable and ends up questioning his feelings towards the angel upon seeing him behave so paternally to the two boys
