"When Atsushi woke up that morning, it was clear something was wrong. His thoughts felt sluggish, his breathing difficult like something was pressing down on his chest. The closet that he called his bed felt like it had turned into a sauna overnight, sweat making his clothes stick uncomfortably to his skin even whilst a shiver ran down his spine. It didn’t take long for Atsushi to realise he was sick, even with how slow his brain was running."
Or, Atsushi goes into work sick and it's up to Poe and Lucy to look after him until he's well again.
