He took the steps two at a time and threw open the door with an imperious, “For the love of God, it had better be a seven.” But then his bluster deflated and he whizzed to a halt.
John stood on the stoop with Rosie on his hip. Two suitcases were crowded behind them, threatening to tumble backward onto the kerb and vomit their overstuffed contents. It had been five months since Sherrinford, and a quiet drive home, and John returning to his daughter in the home he’d bought for his dead wife.
“Hello.” John fidgeted, rebalancing Rosie’s weight. “It’s been a minute, yeah? Thought we’d…” He shook his head, paused, frowned. “Are those new goggles?”
“No.” Sherlock watched Rosie chew her finger. Unable to reign in his traitorous hope, he asked, “Why are you here?”
John and Rosie move back into 221b, and life takes on a new normal: one where John smells like Sherlock’s mate, Rosie smells like his daughter, and Sherlock tries his damndest to ignore the evidence. But how long can the world’s only consulting detective avoid coming to the obvious conclusion?

On any other day, Crowley would look forward to an assignment that sent him into the woods. The cool darkness beneath the thick boughs has always called to him. But not today, when he’s only hours from his heat, and every shadow feels like a threat. Today all he craves is his bed and his hand.
He’s looking over his shoulder, jumping at every whisper of wind through the underbrush, and he strays from the path, losing precious minutes of daylight. By the time he reaches Hastur’s cottage the moon is full and there is something inhuman waiting inside—something enormous, and furred, and most definitely alpha.

Aziraphale Fell is bone-achingly lonely. He has his collection of curious, old books and enough money to live quite comfortably for the rest of his life without earning another quid. But no one truly knows him, and he spends most days wrestling with the uneasy sensation of being a fraud in his own story. It’s desperation that drives him to hire an escort on his birthday, hoping to happily exist as himself for just one night.
Anthony Crowley shed his blue-blood life like a too-tight skin. He’s living by his own rules, fixing motorbikes and making money as an escort…which suits him perfectly, except for when he’s feeling terribly alone. One night there’s a call out of the blue. The voice on the other end is prim and fumbling, asking him if he’d like to meet up…just for the evening, money is not a problem. And Crowley can’t help but be very, very intrigued.

“Hey, Lancey.” Jaime unthinkingly used the childhood name. Lancel sounded like he was having a panic attack. “It’s okay, whatever it is–”
“I’m getting married.” He exhaled the words, loud and quick. After a few frantic inhales he added, “Next month.”
“Okay, that’s…that’s a big decision.” Jaime was dumbfounded. Lancel had never even mentioned having a girlfriend. “Not being judgemental, not at all, but…I don’t even know her name.”
“His.” Lancel cleared his throat and spoke louder, determined. “His name is Galladon, and we’ve been together for almost a year.”
When Jaime’s favorite cousin, Lancel, asks him to be best man at his wedding, Jaime is quick to say yes. What he doesn’t know is that the family Lancel is about to marry into is nothing like the Lannisters. And the maid of honor is about to change Jaime’s life.
