Sun Priestess doesn’t miss her wings often.
It sounded like a big thing, to lose your wings, but Sun could fly anyway through the power of adventurer magic! She had shoes instead of talons, hats in place of head feathers, and she had the sun instead of Wy- instead of the Stars.
But right now, staring at a little red bird as it hops across a snowy branch, Sun really misses having wings.

Well, his therapist’s professional opinion had been “don’t trigger a primal slime fear response for a party trick” but a gegg clone hardly counted as a full split, he’s so small! Plus, this wasn’t a party trick, this was for Flippa! (Besides, all Roier had to say these days was that his daughter was a monster. Probably. He stopped going to therapy a while ago, Flippa didn’t like it when he went.)

The dopplegänger slams into the door again, and again, thud, thud, thud, thud, and then-
Gillion’s face comes into view in the small window in the door. It doesn’t look smug, or angry. It looks worried, and a little confused. Like it was innocently concerned about a small misunderstanding.
“Chip,” and God, it sounds just like him, “could you open the door?”
Or; Chip locks himself in a fortified room, and Dopple-Gillion tries to convince him to open the door.

Summary
Chip had a problem, and that problem was named Gillion Tidestrider.
Because usually, when Chip gets shoulder duty - helping a mortal with a tough and weighty moral decision in opposition to a demon - he comes in, tells the demon they're stupid, the mortal agrees, and he leaves!But Gillion made arguments differently from most devils Chip met: He told them all the reasons why doing *bad* things was actually better for *everyone*, except maybe themselves, and isn't it so *selfless* of the mortal to even *consider* doing this horrible thing, *especially* considering the consequences (read: Hell), because that just makes them *brave* and a *martyr*. Sometimes, Chip could almost think he was genuinely trying to help them.
Unfortunately for quite possibly *everyone* *except* for Chip, Chip makes arguments differently too: He bullshits.

Summary
Jimmy is an utter lightweight.
That’s really the most important thing that he should remember when he goes to parties, but somehow he always forgets because everybody else is still drinking, so it’s fine for him to keep drinking! After all, if Grian, tiny bird that he is, can knock back four shots and order another without even blinking, Jimmy should be able to as well. He doesn’t drink very frequently, of course, but he thinks he ought to have gotten better at it by now.
He can’t turn down a drink with a low alcohol content for the pitiful reason of already drinking one that was practically just juice.
So he finishes the drink in his hand and picks up the one from her.
